FORM: the physical contour of a work, the volume or mass that it carves out of space (aka, a shape)
this is not supposed to "be" anything (the inevitable question everyone asks), it's just a shape carved out of blue Styrofoam. i've done some more work to it since these pictures, and the finished project will be covered in plaster, but here's just a "work in progress" look for you :)

It looks like the end of a balled up fist. Like when you ball up your fist and your thumb is under your fingers... I would be interested in what others see!
it is much larger than I thought it would be.
I thought someone left the cap off the toothpaste. Dad
