Aaaah I'm leaving tomorrow to go to schooooool. I can't believe this day is already here. I can't adequately express all that is going on in my head and my heart as I begin to embark on this transition...
It has been a beautiful summer. I have been blessed beyond belief. I have been able to see and trust and rest in the faithfulness of our God. And now again, He will show His goodness to me, even as I leave all of you and reenter the Union community. I'm excited for it, a little anxious, not entirely prepared, but trusting that I will be ready when I need to be.
Today has just been the hard day. It's the time inbetween saying goodbye and leaving - and more importantly, arriving, that gets difficult...missing people when I haven't even left yet....Tomorrow at church we will have our one last hurrah, which I am happy to have...but then the long, long drive to school. Prayers would be appreciated for that, especially since I will actually be driving, and normally I'm the co-pilot. If all goes well, we should arrive in Jackson by Monday afternoon. Then will begin the flurry of move in, and preparing for classes the next day!
I am looking forward to seeing my roommate and my friends. The situation with our 4th roommate keeps rapidly changing, but I'm sure everything will work out in the end. She hasn't moved in yet, but hopefully she'll be there by the time we arrive. I'm excited to meet her, and to become a little roommate family.
I am going to miss all the time I've been able to have this summer soaking up the friends that God has placed in my path, and while I am going to miss those He is moving all over the place (okay yes, He's moving me too - but only for the semester!) I know I can trust where He is taking me.
It's going to be a great year.
